Series 600 is a simple and inexpensive lock that you can use to lock, for example, your mailbox or your shed. Series 600 contains a technology from the 1980s, which is obsolete in relation to securing exterior doors. Compared to the Series 500 , the Series 600 is drill-proof, making this locking system significantly better. Series 600 has the second lowest level of security compared to other mechanical locks from ASSA ABLOY.
Series 600 is not patent protected, and therefore you can easily have extra keys produced for your private home. You just go to your nearest heel bar, for example if one of the children has thrown away his key.

The cylinder is fastened with 1 screw and it is fitted with hardened pins in the cylinder housing and drum, which provides extremely good protection against attack.

Maintenance
Before using the lock for the first time, it must be lubricated with ASSA ABLOY lock spray. ASSA ABLOY recommends that the lock is then lubricated at least every six months, to ensure that it always works optimally.
