RUKO MERKUR 401
Merkur 401 is a patented locking system with good security, key control and full flexibility. That we choose to name our locking system with the name Mercury 401, has arisen from our desire to constantly challenge the existing and have ambitions to make it a little better. The ASSA ABLOY universe will change constantly - because patents expire, new technological possibilities arise and we are constantly getting wiser.
The number 401 refers to Mercury's position in our safety barometer. Mercury is placed in our second highest security category (category 4), which is a good level of security. Merkur 401 is suitable for housing associations, sports clubs, holiday homes, etc., and can advantageously replace older locking systems such as Series 500 and Series 600.
The technology behind the locking system
Merkur 401 is based on a new technology for lock cylinders, which consists of six upper and lower pins, where the lower pins have a double code and are wing-guided.

At the same time, the Mercury 401 is of course patented and part of the safety is that the drum has a so-called paracentric design. This means that the profile is cut so that it goes over the center line, which is a large part of the dirke protection. |
In addition, keys and cylinders from the locking system are designed so that they can be used with approved security locks and fittings, which means that the overall solution has a high level of security. Merkur 401 allows you to build a locking system completely as desired - without the need to compromise on flexibility.
